KICKOFF: 7 p.m., Torii Hunter Field at Zebra Stadium

LAST WEEK: The Hogs’ game was cancelled due to inclement weather. Pine Bluff lost to North Little Rock, 217.

GAME FACTS: Arkansas High looks to win its second road game of the year after not picking up any road victories last season. Pine Bluff lost most of its starters from last year’s conference championship team and is still trying to gel as a unit. This contest is the Conference 7A/6A South opener for both teams.

COACHES’ COMMENTS: Arkansas High’s Todd Ledford—” We’re going to find out a lot about ourselves in this first (conference) game and how we’ll stack up in this conference. Pine Bluff has some talented players and we’re looking forward to a challenge. We want to make a run at a conference championship; this team (Pine

T. POTTS

Bluff) is a good team to start off with.”

Pine Bluff’s Bobby Bolding– ”They’re a lot better football team (than last year). They’re a lot better defensively; you can tell they have more confidence. They’re more experienced and you can tell in their defensive schemes. On offense, they’re solid in what they’re doing and it’s always a big game when we play them, especially with this being the first conference game. It’s going to be a battle. “
