It's a bird. It's a plane. It's the fifth annual Ark-La-Tex Comic Con, and it will land at Texarkana Convention Center this Labor Day weekend, Sept. 5-6.
Adults' tickets are $15 for one day or $25 for both days and include the admission of two children 12 or younger per each adult ticket. The cost for additional children's tickets is $5. Tickets can be purchased online at arklatexcomiccon.org.
Event organizers are anticipating about 50 vendors and more than a dozen guests spanning all of pop culture. Confirmed guests scheduled to appear are Walking Dead's Coleman Youmans, Chris Harrelson and Moses J. Moseley; Gigi Edgley, star of Syfy's hit series Farscape; Emmynominated independent animator David Schedler; and many others.
