BASEBALL
Texas A&M University-Texarkana series of “Under the Lights” baseball camps at George Dobson Field at Spring Lake Park for students 5th-12th grade. Pitching and defense camps on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 27-Nov. 5. Offense camps Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Oct. 21, 23 and Nov. 30-Dec. 11. The cost is $100 per camper. GOLF
The Arkansas High Band Golf Tournament will be held at the Texarkana Golf Ranch on Oct. 24. Registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. with a shot-gun start at 8:30 a.m. The tournament will be a four-man scramble with first, second, and third place overall winners receiving prizes. Door prizes will also be drawn and a raffle will be held on site. Proceeds benefit the Arkansas High School Razorback Band.

SHOOTING SPORTS

The annual Ducks Unlimited banquet will be on Thursday, October 29 at 6 p.m. at the Elks Lodge on Garland.
Tickets for adults are $50, $20 for greenwings (16 and under) and $500 for upfront eight person tables. Ducks Unlimited will have 30 guns and the usual prime rib dinner.

Swing for Cure “Let’s Pink Out the Park” Tournament at Karrh Park Oct. 24. Teams register online at usssa.com, and the first 15 teams to join will be entered to win door prizes.
