Orders for Tim’s Fudge are now being taken. The cost is $20 for an 8-inch-by-8-inch pan. Choices include chocolate, butterscotch, peanut butter, toffee, mint, dark chocolate and white chocolate, all with or without pecans. Proceeds will be used to benefit liver-transplant hopeful Janet Kafer through the SouthCentral Liver Transplant Fund. Hospice of Texarkana is seeking volunteers for its Prayer Shawl ministry. Volunteers meet Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. at 501 East 6th Street, Texarkana, Ark., to knit or crochet lap blankets and shawls for patients. Texarkana Friends of the Shelter has extended the deadline for their Shoes for Shelter campaign. They are still collecting new or gently worn shoes.
