Authorities still looking for Hempstead County woman missing for nearly a year
A Hempstead County, Ark., woman, last seen nearly a year ago, remains missing, according to Hope police.
A $3,000 reward is being offered by family and friends to find the woman, according to a Facebook page for Madeline Tomlin, who was last seen May 20, 2015, in Hope. Another report said she was seen May 19 in Fulton.
Kim Tomlin, Hope assistant police chief, confirmed Wednesday the woman remains missing.
“We still want any information we can get to help find the woman,” said Tomlin, who is not related to the missing woman.
The Facebook page said information must be provided to Hope police Detective Jesus Coronado.
“Do not contact the family with the information. All leads should be directed to Detective Coronado,” the Facebook page said.
“Madeline’s family and friends believe that it is very unlikely that Madeline would willingly go this long without contact with them,” Tomlin said.
She was last seen wearing light blue cotton pants and a white or cream-colored top. Tomlin is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds with brownish-red hair and green eyes.
She has a butterfly tattooed on her foot, the name Cash on her ankle and a horseshoe on her shoulder.
Coronado may be reached at 870-722-2561. The police department phone number is 870-7773434.
