Dr. John Tennison will present new evidence regarding the history of Texarkana at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13

at the Museum of Regional History in downtown Texarkana. Tennison will formally debut his research and question the validity of the traditiona­lly held date of Dec. 8, 1873 as the birthday or founding date of Texarkana.
