Dr. John Tennison will present new evidence regarding the history of Texarkana at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13

at the Museum of Regional History in downtown Texarkana. Tennison will formally debut his research and question the validity of the traditionally held date of Dec. 8, 1873 as the birthday or founding date of Texarkana.
