PEGGY MONKHOUSE

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Peggy W. Monkhouse, 77, of Clarksville died Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Monkhouse was born September 13, 1938, in Rayland, Okla. She was retired from Home Heath Services.

She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Tanya Seleste Burnett.

Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, Ricky Boyd Burnett of Clarksville, Randy Wayne Burnett of Clarksville, and Ronny Gene and Leona Burnett of Manchester, Texas; her three brothers and one sister-in-law, Larry Smith of Clarksville, Bobby Ray Smith of Shreveport, La., Glen and Linda Smith of Valliant, Okla.; three grandchildren, Kacey Burnett of Clarksville, Melisa Bridges of Millerton, Okla., and Jerica Burnett of Paris; and five great grandchildren.

Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016, at Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Bro. Brett Coffee officiating.

Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
