WILLIE HENDERSON

Willie Henderson, 98, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, in Texarkana. Ms. Henderson was born January 3, 1918, in Fulton, Ark. She was a domestic worker.

Survivors include three nieces, Lavern Scott of Desoto, Texas, Jackie Carey of Dallas, Texas, and Esther Simon-Beal of Texarkana, Texas; two nephews, Damien Lavdier of New York, Lewis Elaine Crain of Grandview, Mo.; four cousins, Classie Harrison, Brenda Brown and Eric Bradford of Texarkana, Ark., and Tosha Brwon of Texarkana, Texas.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. today at Miles Chapel CME with Thurston Callier officiating. Burial will be in Fairhaven Cemetery under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary.

The body may be viewed from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. today at the church.
