Collins Memorial Senior Citizen Center is at 3000 Texas Blvd., inside the Collins Memorial Building. It is part of the Texarkana, Texas, Parks and Recreation Department. Watch Channel 21 for the center’s events, pictures and other city news. Call 903-793-5545 for informatio­n.

T-Line provides transporta­tion to the center. The bus stops on Main Street directly behind the center. Oneway fare for seniors older than 65 is 60 cents.

The center also boasts a book exchange. The center serves a meal weekdays at 11:30 a.m. for Texas seniors age 60 and older. Senior Citizens Services provides the meals.
