Medicare Part D enrollment now open

Medicare Part D Open Enrollment has begun and will continue through Dec. 7.

Medicare recipients can shop and compare plans during this time.

Drug plan insurances change yearly. That means drug costs, including premiums, deductibles and formularies, change every year. So, don’t forget to check your plan for the coming year.

Medicare recipients can use the Medicare plan finder website at www.medicare.gov, or call the Area Agency on Aging to make an appointment for help. Individuals will be seen by appointment only and must bring all of their medications and proof of income.
