Retail gas prices in Texas up, reach $1.99 per gallon
COPPELL, Texas—Retail gasoline prices in Texas rose 6 cents this week to reach an average $1.99 per gallon.
AAA Texas on Thursday reported the average price at the pump nationwide was up a nickel to reach an average $2.20 per gallon.
The association survey found Texarkana has the most expensive gasoline in Texas this week at an average $2.01 per gallon. Drivers in San Antonio have the cheapest gasoline statewide at an average $1.93 per gallon.
