ATLANTA, Texas—Phenie “Jean” Turner, 86, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Turner was born Dec. 1, 1930, in Bowie County, Texas. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Texarkana, and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by two husbands; and two children, Nan Vaughan and Michael Keith Turner.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and LouAnn Draper of Abilene, Texas; two brothers and sisters-inlaw, Charles and Glynis Beard of Rockhill, S.C., and Gary and Kathy Beard of Douglassville, Texas; one sister, Rosie Scott of Linden, Texas; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Cemetery with James Wallace officiating. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
