A.G. MORELAND

A.G. Moreland, 86, of Avery, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, in a Paris, Texas hospital. Mr. Moreland was born March 1, 1930, in Vinita, Okla. He was a retired mechanic, owner of B&W Garage, a member of Avery Church of Christ and a Korean War Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, June Moreland; and one daughter, Paula Moreland.

Survivors include one son, Robert Moreland of Avery; one granddaughter, Ellissa Moreland of Avery; one grandson, Brady Moreland of Avery; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Bates Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Avery Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
