3. LSU (7-4): Ed Orgeron’s first game as the Tigers’ permanent head coach comes against Louisville in the Citrus Bowl. (LW: 3)
4. Auburn (8-4): In the end, lost to a pair of playoff teams (Alabama and Clemson) en route a solid bounceback year. (LW: 4)
5. Texas A&M (8-4): The Aggies will try to improve to 4-1 in bowl games under Kevin Sumlin. (LW: 5)
6. Tennessee (8-4): The Volunteers head back to Nashville after dropping their regular-season finale at Vanderbilt. (LW: 6)
7. Georgia (7-5): It’s off to the Liberty Bowl for Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs and a date with Texas Christian. (LW: 7)
8. Kentucky (7-5): The Wildcats’ first postseason game in six years will take them to Jacksonville to face Georgia Tech. (LW: 8)
9. Arkansas (7-5): It’s a dozen games in and it’s still hard to get a good read on the Razorbacks. (LW: 9)
10. Vanderbilt (6-6): Head to the Independence Bowl hoping to lock up a winning season against fellow 6-6er N.C. State. (LW: 10)
11. South Carolina (6-6): The Gamecocks’ offense could get on track against South Florida’s limited defense. (LW: 11)
12. Mississippi State (5-7): The Bulldogs’ APR score allowed them to reach their seventh consecutive bowl game. (LW: 12)
13. Mississippi (5-7): The Rebels dropped five of their last seven, some of which came without injured QB Chad Kelly. (LW: 13)
14. Missouri (4-8): If QB Drew Lock takes a step forward, coach Barry Odom’s second year will go better than his first. (LW: 14)
