Registration for Girl Scout spring, summer camps open
Girl Scouts-Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas have opened registration for spring and summer Girl Scout camps. Camps are open to girls in the first through 12th grades and there are 58 camp sessions to choose from. Camp activities include archery, hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, canoeing, arts and crafts and more.
Girls attending a week of resident camp will experience 68 hours of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience which focuses on helping girls discover themselves, connect with others and take action to make the world a better place.
Girls who aren’t involved with Girl Scouts can join the Girl Scouts for $15 and then register for camp.

Girl Scouts-Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas serves more than 8,000 girls and encompasses all counties in Arkansas except Crittenden, includes Adair, LeFlore and Sequoyah counties in Oklahoma as well as Bowie and Cass counties in Texas.
