Queen City has 3 superlatives on 14-3A all-district team
Queen City led the 14-3A AllDistrict superlative selections with three, while New Boston had two and Paul Pewitt one.
The Lady Bulldogs’ Jessica Jones was chosen MVP, while teammate Jacie Lance was named Co-Offensive Player of the Year. Queen City head coach Janice McMellon was honored as Coach of the Year after leading the Bulldogs to the district championship.
Madison Thomas of New Boston was selected Defensive Player of the Year, while teammate Chloe Davis was named Newcomer of the Year.
Paul Pewitt’s Ebbony Cobbins earned Co-Offensive Player of the Year.
Redwater had two players make the first team in Karlee Carmony and Savannah Corbell.
Zoe Lanier and Katelyn Roth represented Hughes Springs on the first team.
Ciara Walker made the first team for Queen City, as did DeKalb’s Mikayla Baxley, and Paul Pewitt’s Taeya Jackson.
