Jo Mac Aydelott
Jo Mac Aydelott of passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at a her home in Avery, Texas. She was 85.
Jo Mac was born July 26, 1931 in Oak Grove, Texas to Laurance Galleher “Jack” and Ragie Rainey Mills. She was a homemaker and a member of Avery Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Tommy Aydelott.
She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Curtis and Kandy Aydelotte of Justin, Texas, Jerry and Anita Aydelott of De Kalb, Texas, Mark Aydelott of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, and Monty and Mindy Aydelott of Harrisville, Pennsylvania; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Jerry Newland of Avery, Texas and Kala and William Howard Farris of Texarkana, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Polly Mills of De Kalb, Texas and Christine Bennett of Lake Charles, Louisiana; two brothers-in-law, J. B. Aydelott of Texarkana, Texas and Don Vanderburg or Texarkana, Texas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Oak Grove, Texas with Rev. Roddy Jackson and Rev. John Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
