Jo Mac Aydelott of passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at a her home in Avery, Texas. She was 85.

Jo Mac was born July 26, 1931 in Oak Grove, Texas to Laurance Galleher “Jack” and Ragie Rainey Mills. She was a homemaker and a member of Avery Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Tommy Aydelott.

She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Curtis and Kandy Aydelotte of Justin, Texas, Jerry and Anita Aydelott of De Kalb, Texas, Mark Aydelott of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, and Monty and Mindy Aydelott of Harrisvill­e, Pennsylvan­ia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Jerry Newland of Avery, Texas and Kala and William Howard Farris of Texarkana, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Polly Mills of De Kalb, Texas and Christine Bennett of Lake Charles, Louisiana; two brothers-in-law, J. B. Aydelott of Texarkana, Texas and Don Vanderburg or Texarkana, Texas; several grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Oak Grove, Texas with Rev. Roddy Jackson and Rev. John Bryant officiatin­g. Interment will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
