Online giving event Thursday allows your dollars to go further
Community members looking to donate to local nonprofits can make their dollars stretch further Thursday during ArkansasGives.
ArkansasGives is a 12-hour online giving event from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. during which participants can donate to a nonprofit of their choice. Each gift made will be matched with bonus dollars. The more donations a charity receives, the more bonus dollars it will receive.
Additional cash prizes also will be provided to the nonprofit organizations that raise the most money and recruit the most individual donors.
