Miller County Health Unit offers Family Planning Services for Miller County residents including physical exams, Pap tests and choice of birth control method (including pills, injection, patch, IUD, Nuva Ring, or Condoms/VCF). Blood pressure Cypress Home Health provides free blood sugar and blood pressure checks to seniors from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. the fourth Monday of each month at the Collins Memorial Senior Center, 3000 Texas Blvd. TheraCare Home Health offers free blood pressure checks to all seniors at 2 p.m. every Tuesday at Cowhorn Creek Estates, 5415 Cowhorn Creek Road. Health Back Home Health will offer free blood pressure checks from 10:30 a.m. the second Thursday of each month at the Collins Memorial Senior Center. Breast care Arkansas Breast Care Program provides free mammograms, free clinical breast exams, free pelvic exams and Pap tests to women who are Arkansas residents ages 40 and older and meet the income eligibility requirements. CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System provides a variety of free breast health services for qualified women and men through funding received from Komen Texarkana and Texas Breast and Cervical Cancer Servicess. Beginning takes place at 6 p.m. April 27 at the Texarkana Convention Center Hilton Garden Inn. Dr. Stephen H. Pratt will make the presentation informing people about a more natural alternative for missing teeth. He has been surgically placing and restoring dental implants for the past 28 years and can completed more than 2,200 hours of cotninuing education since graduating from dental school with 700 of those hours focused on dental implants.
