Braswell, Gullatt take gold as Arkansas High wins Collin Raye Relays

DE QUEEN, Ark.—Tyler Braswell and Jonathan Gullatt each won three individual gold medals for Arkansas High to help the Razorbacks win the Collin Raye Relays on Thursday at Leopard Stadium.

The Hogs scored 181 points to outdistanc­e themselves from De Queen, which scored 157.5, and Broken Bow was third at 147.

De Queen’s girls won their championsh­ip with 163 points, edging Idabel by a single point. Broken Bow wasn’t far behind Idabel’s 162, Broken Bow finishing with 155 points.

Gullatt won the long jump, high jump and 110 hurdles for Arkansas High, and Braswell claimed gold in the 3,200, 1,600 and 800 meters. Irijah Price also won the triple jump for the Razorbacks.

Maurice Moore was a double winner for the Leopards, winning the shot put and discus for the host team. De Queen also won the 4x800 relay, and Tanner Manasco took the 300 hurdles.

The Lady Leopards won the girls 4x800 relay as well, and Ashley Dykes took gold in the 800 meters for DQ. Also for the host team, Reana Roberson won the pole vault, Deja Bell claimed the triple, and Kenedy Winship won the discus.

Brookelyn Cox won the long jump for Nashville’s girls, and on the boys side, Kalob Carpenter took gold in the pole vault for the Scrappers.

GO-DEVIL RELAYS

GURDON, Ark.—Eden Crow won three events, the high jump, the discus, and the shot put as Genoa Central’s girls racked up 162 points en route to the championsh­ip trophy at the Gurdon Go-Devil Relays.

The Dragon boys were runners-up to Benton, which won 123-100 over Genoa Central.

In the girls’ division, the Lady Dragons were 34 better than runner-up Sheridan.

Tera Frost won the 1600, followed by teammate Hannah Howry in second for Genoa Central. Frost also finished first in the 3200 with Janie Bentley runner-up.

Victoria Hill earned gold in the 800, and teammate Howry was second for the Lady Dragons.

GC’s Frost, Bentley, Howry, and Taylor Bowman crossed the line first in the 4x800.

Braden Hensley and teammate Remington Bearden finished 1-2 in the pole vault for the Dragons.

Jack Jones, Stafford McQuerry, Weston Whitehead, and Casey Eddy brought home 10 points with a first-place finish in the 4x800.

Genoa Central’s Ryan Whitehead earned gold in the 1600 and was second in the 800. Teammate Jones placed first in the 800.

The Dragons’ Tyler Moreland, Brennan East, Jacob Jackson and McQuerry rushed their way to top honors in the 4x400.

R.M. BELL RELAYS

MINERAL SPRINGS, Ark.—Prescott swept the championsh­ips of the R.M. Bell Relays at Mineral Springs.

The Curley Wolves scored 190.5 with Lafayette County second in the boys division with 97.5. Caddo Hills was third at 74.

In the girls division the Lady Wolves garnered 177.5 points, Blevins scored 96.5 for second, and Murfreesbo­ro was third with 76.

Prescott won the 4x100 and 4x400 relays, and Murfreesbo­ro took gold in the 4x800 relay.

Other winners for Prescott included Haleigh Wiley, who won the 100- and 200-meter races, Jacie Nolen in the high jump, and Ana Byers in the 800 meters.

Emeisha Fields of Foreman was a double winner, claiming the shot put and discus, and teammate Kadi Downs won the triple jump.

On the boys side, the Curley Wolves claimed all three relays, and teammates Adrian Block and Deonte Jamison tied for gold in the 110 hurdles. Jamison won the triple jump, Block won the 300 hurdles, and also for Prescott, Quontraviu­s Caldwell took the 800 meters and Ryan Johnson won the 400.

Lafayette County’s Lepatrick Miller won the long jump and high jump.

Foreman had a pair of winners in Kyren Batey in the 100 meters and Tucker Hall in the discus. Trinity Christian’s Jakob Martin won the 1,600 meters, and Fouke’s Jarrett Easley won the 200 meters.
