DE QUEEN, Ark.—Ray Windel “Sonny” Thomas, 85, of De Queen died Friday, May 19, 2017, in Dierks, Ark.
Mr. Thomas was born June 28, 1931, in Little River County, Ark. He was a retired millworker with Weyerhaeuser.
Survivors include two sisters, Betty McNeal of De Queen and Linda Catlett of Jacksonville, Texas; and a number of other relatives.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation is under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.

STAMPS, Ark.—Dorothy Elaine Guthrie, 79, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, May 18, 2017, at her home.
Mrs. Guthrie was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Fort Lynn, Ark. She was a member of Concord Holiness Church, Fouke, Ark. She was preceded in death by two sons, John Martin Guthrie and Alan Dale Guthrie.
Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Youngkin of Dawsonville, Ga.; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Leslie and Tony Autrey of Hooks, Texas; one grandson, Skyler Youngkin of Atlanta, Ga.; three great-granddaughters, Hailey Autrey, Meagan Autrey and Jessica Autrey of Hooks; three special friends, John H. Ward of Texarkana, Reba McKamie, and Laura Hopkins of Genoa, Ark.; and a number of other relatives.
Cremation is under direction of Smith Funeral Home.
