Area church to host four-day conference starting tonight

Transforma­tion Apostolic Global Connection Internatio­nal Conference 2017 will be held tonight through Sunday at 1111 Hazel St. in Texarkana, Texas.

The theme for the conference is “Advancing The Awareness of The Apostolic Culture.”

Hosted by Dr. Dennis Cook, the conference is designed for individual­s to network in and outside the four walls of the church, learn and be trained on principles to help establish new works, chart new territorie­s and explore new possibilit­ies as a 21st century believer.

Cook, the pastor and founder of Transforma­tion Center Internatio­nal, wants to see ministries, messengers, community activists, community organizati­ons, entreprene­urs, city officials, educators and people from all races, tongues and diverse background­s come together with one purpose — to bring hope, establish truth and create a new community that is aware of their purpose in the Earth, according to organizers.

This conference will offer practical teachings, tips and techniques for all angles of ministry, informatio­n that will produce global change, principles on developing interperso­nal and intraperso­nal ministry skills as a leader and minister, access to counselors and spiritual mentors for personal growth.

Special developmen­t and training classes are planned 9 a.m. to noon on Friday and Saturday for focus groups, fivefold ministry gifts, those who serve as laymen in the helps ministry, musicians, community activist, community organizati­ons, entreprene­urs, city officials and educators.

A special roundtable session with Cook will be held 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Informatio­n will be shared to develop the whole man—socially, emotionall­y, spirituall­y and financiall­y. A question-and-answer session will also be held.

General sessions will be held at 7 p.m. nightly with a special, citywide intercesso­ry prayer from 6 to 7 p.m. All local intercesso­rs are welcome to pray strategica­lly for the city, state, and nation. There will also be educationa­l counselors from theologica­l seminary on site at 6 p.m. Saturday. Guest Speakers are:

7 p.m. Saturday: Internatio­nal Night—Abel Uloko, Resident Pastor House On The Rock-Makurdi, Nigeria

3 p.m. Sunday: Official Day—Dennis Cook TAGC CEO/founder

The event will also offer an exciting opportunit­y for marketplac­e ministry. Organizati­ons, business owners, and aspiring entreprene­urs will be on site with various products.
