MAX HENRY

The family of Max Edward Henry will celebratin­g his life at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017.

Max was born on September 2, 1942 in a small community called Toad Suck Ferry, AR. He graduated from Arkansas High School and attended Texarkana Jr. College. There he met his wife of 52 ½ years, Linda Harvey.

Max enjoyed photograph­y, playing golf and sightseein­g “driving the back roads”. Profession­ally he served the floral industry for over 45 years. He and Linda enjoyed traveling following his retirement. They went all over the U.S., including Hawaii and Alaska.

Max was preceded in death by his parents, Burke and Doris Henry; brother, JB Henry and many more loved ones, more recently a close nephew, Jeff Henry from N. Little Rock, AR.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Harvey Henry; sons, Russell Henry and wife Cindy of Bossier City, Jason Henry and wife Theresa of Benton, and Michael Henry of Shreveport; grandchild­ren, Matt Henry of Bossier City, Kaylynn (Henry) Craig and husband Quinton of Bossier City, Taylor (Henry) Strong and husband Nathan Strong of Baton Rouge and Chance Henry attending LSU at Baton Rouge a number of nieces, nephews and lifetime friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Garden Court for caring for Max for the last two months of his life and Dr. Sanjaykuma­r Shah for years of care.
