Cheers & Jeers

-

CHEERS: To all the Arkansas police, sheriff’s office, county and state police for all the acts of kindness during the loss of our grandson. And the Fouke Volunteer Fire Department for stopping traffic at Fouke during the funeral procession. God bless. We appreciate it.—A.F., Fouke Ark.

JEERS: To restaurants, churches, and other places where people gather that keep air conditioners turned so cold in summer months that were it winter they would turn on the heat. Winter months are pleasant in those settings and often there is no need for a wrap, but be sure to take your parkas in the summer. — M.M.T., Texarkana, Texas.

JEERS: The anti-Christ spirit is increasingly showing it’s evil face, as demonstrated by Bernie Sanders seeking to disqualify Russell Vought, for a position in Management & Budget. Labeling him (and apparently Jesus) as an intolerant bigot, unfit to serve a diverse nation, because he believes Jesus’ words, proclaiming that God, on Judgment Day, will reject those who reject Jesus. Sanders, rejecting Biblical Christianity, is willing ignorant of Scripture instructing Christians to be tolerant of others, while he reveals his gross hypocrisy by supporting Keith Ellison—a Muslim congressman in league with intolerant Islamists. — D.H.M., Texarkana, Ark.
