VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Haney Creek Baptist Church, Ashdown, Ark., will have vacation Bible school for all ages from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

REVIVALS

Salem Missionary Baptist Church, Linden, Texas, will have a revival July 10-12. Services start at 7 p.m. The special guest will be the Rev. Eric Nelson of Mansfield, Texas.

Trinity Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church will have a birthday revival celebration in honor of Calvin Solomon starting at 6:30 p.m. July 12-15 and at 3 p.m. July 16. There will be a variety of speakers.

Honey Grove Baptist Church, Atlanta, Texas, will have its annual revival at 7:30 p.m. July 12-14. The speakers will be Bishop DeAundry Tolbert of God’s Ladder to Holiness Church on July 12, Dr. Tonya Anderson of Eleventh Street Baptist Church on July 13 and Larry Clardy of Roanoke Baptist Church, Foreman, Ark.

MUSIC

First Baptist Church, Ashdown, Ark., will have a celebration for Charles Vance for 60 years of music ministry at 3:30 p.m. July 8. A reception will follow. Call 903244-3880.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

Sanctuary of Hope, Fouke, Ark., will have a Freedom Fest at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. There will be music, fireworks and free homemade ice cream. Bring your own lawnchairs. Call 870-331-3137.

Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Hooks, Texas, will have a five-fellowship Bible class at 6 p.m. Monday.

Cass County Cowboy Church, Atlanta, Texas, will have a talent show and summer fan drive at 5:30 p.m. July 7. Participants are asked to register by July 5, with no cost to enter. Admission is free, with donations or fans welcome. Barbecue plates and a drink will be $8 for adults, with a dessert for free. Children’s hot dog plates will be $4. Zion District Congress of Christian Education will have a queen program at 7 p.m. July 10 at Greater St. John Baptist Church, Hooks, Texas. All congress choirs are invited to render an A and B selection. There will also be a congress held at 9 a.m. July 11 through July 14 at Greater St. John Baptist Church.

SPECIAL SERVICES

Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church will have a pastor and wife appreciation service at 3 p.m. Sunday. The speaker will be Dr. George Parks of New Hope Baptist Church, Conway, Ark. Call 870773-7131.
