The youngest Jenner returns to TV in ‘Life of Kylie’

Kylie’s close-up: For better or for worse, reality television has produced its fair share of stars, but few families have captured the attention of viewers quite like the Kardashians. Sisters Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie, along with parents Kris and Caitlyn Jenner, have been reeling in fans since the premiere of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” in 2007.

The show has been so popular that it’s spawned a number of spinoffs, and the latest offshoot is about to hit the airwaves. The youngest Kardshian — Kylie — allows cameras to document her day-to-day life like never before in “Life of Kylie,” premiering Thursday, July 6, on E! At the tender age of 19, Kylie has already established herself as an entrepreneur, fashion designer, author and style icon, not to mention reality-TV star.

With more than 175 million followers across Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter, the young Jenner has a strong social media presence, but “Life of Kylie” promises a more candid look at the life of the star.

“The last couple of years have been such an incredible journey with the support of my fans. This show will allow me to give them a peek inside all of the exciting things I am working on, as well as some personal time with friends,” explained Jenner.

The show follows Kylie as she runs her eponymous beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics, which she launched in 2015. In addition to documenting her professional endeavors, her new reality TV series also reveals how she spends her down time. Cameras follow the star as she hangs out with close friend Jordyn Woods.

People may believe they already know Kylie, who practically grew up in “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” which premiered when she was just nine years old. But in the trailer for her new series, Kylie contends that many people seem to have misconceptions about her and admits she feels pressured to keep up her public persona.

Realty meets reality TV: The real estate market has its ups and downs, and prime time is a hot neighborhood right now. Shows about real estate have been popping up in every corner of the TV landscape, and one of the genre’s newest series reveals the cutthroat competition in California’s Orange County.

Two rival real estate teams vie for limited listings in premium neighborhoods in “Real Estate Wars,” premiering Thursday, July 6, on Bravo. The show follows an epic turf battle as the two companies try to woo high-end clients in the hopes of nabbing lucrative commissions.

John McMonigle was once the top real estate agent in the U.S., but lost everything when the real estate market crashed. Determined to rebuild, he recruited five ambitious agents who then helped him create the McMonigle Team. In the high-stakes world of highend real estate, however, there can only be one top company. McMonigle and his colleagues have set their sights on beating The Relegance Group.

Unfortunately for them, Relegance is comprised of five eager and determined agents, including Jojo Romeo, the selfproclaimed “real estate queen” of The O.C. A one-time employee of McMonigle’s, Romeo is determined to help The Relegance Group rule Orange County as a result of her contentious relationship with her former boss.

Cameras follow 10 agents as they compete to become No. 1 in the coveted market. Watch as they contend with eccentric clients, make multimillion-dollar deals and revisit old vendettas in “Real Estate Wars,” premiering Thursday, July 6, on Bravo.

Anything but typical: All teenagers face ups and downs, but some grapple with bigger issues than most. In addition to typical teen challenges, transgender teens face misconceptions, discrimination, hate speech and more.

Transgender teen Jazz Jennings bravely allows cameras to document her life in a new episode of “I Am Jazz,” airing Wednesday, July 5, on TLC. Now in its third season, the GLADD Media Award-winning series follows the South Florida teen and her family, who are very supportive of her desire to undergo gender confirmation surgery.

This season, Jennings faces the biggest decision of her life so far, as she decides to go ahead with the surgery — but new information comes to light that may indicate her surgical options are more limited than previously thought. All the while, she deals with the often complicated angst that comes with being a typical teenager and full-time student.

Jennings also continues to be a transgender advocate as she shares her story with others in the hopes of educating and inspiring. She and her parents have founded the TransKids Purple Rainbow Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting transgender youth and their families.

Her tireless efforts have been recognized with various accolades, including a spot on Time magazine’s list of The 25 Most Influential Teens in both 2014 and 2015. She co-wrote the children’s book “I Am Jazz” with Jessica Herthel, and her memoir “Being Jazz: My Life as a (Transgender) Teen” was released in June 2016.

Tune in to see what Jennings will do next in a new episode of “I Am Jazz,” airing Wednesday, July 5, on TLC.
