FRANKIE MCBRIDE

Mr. Frankie L. “Bubba” McBride, age 64, of Texarkana, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at his residence.

Frank ie was born Jan. 29, 1953, in Texarkana, Ark. He was a graduate of Arkansas High School, attended Texarkana College and was employed with Red River Army Depot. He was a minister, having served several congregations in the area as pastor. He was a member of Buchanan United Methodist Church and a veteran of the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Dorothy “Dot” McBride.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Tyson McBride of Texarkana, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Tiffany McBride of Grant, Ala.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jaime Scott and Julie and Justin Franklin of Longview, Texas; two stepchildren, Amy Jenkins of Palm Coast, Fla., and Joshua Spradling of Hastings, Fla.; three sisters and two brothers- in- law, Kathy McBride, Tanya and Jeff Harrelson and Shannon and Paul Lishman, all of Texarkana, Ark.; 12 grandchildren, Karsyn, Kamdyn, Kingston, Stockton, Kennedy, Landen, Kaylan, Ruger, Remington, Jayden, Jurnee and Finn; special friends, Shania McBride, Donna Woodson and Becca Sillivan; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, Chapel with the Rev. Keith Ducroz and the Rev. Tuffy Williams officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Cemetery, Texarkana, Ark.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday.

The family will be at their home, 820 Lemon Acres Road, Texarkana, Texas.
