Clyde Darrel Santifer

Clyde Darrel Santifer, age 84, of Shreveport, Louisiana, died August 2, 2017, in a Bossier City, LA, nursing home.

Mr. Santifer was born April 27, 1934, in Texarkana, Texas, attended Arkansas High School, and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

Mr. Santifer was retired from FAA, was involved in the rental property business, a member of Brookwood Baptist Church, and a talented fixer-tinkerer. His talent with making things work and putting bicycles together thrilled many children to whom he gifted bicycles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Estelle and Darrel (Buster) Santifer and Lillie B. Santifer, and a brother, Robert Dale (Bobby) Santifer, Sr., all of Texarkana, AR.

Survivors are his wife, Patricia Harrell Santifer of Shreveport, LA; one son and daughterin-law, Clyde R. (Randy) and Tina Santifer of Butte, MT; two daughters and sons-inlaw, Tammy (Ernie) Stevens of Ruston, LA and Tina (Roger) Murray of Shrveport, LA; two grandsons: Joseph Darrel Santifer of Butte, MT, and Kyle Murray of Shreveport, LA. Grand daughters are: Kelcie Stevens of Ruston, LA, Kelli Murray of Shreveport, LA, and Stephanie Stevens Sutton of Ruston, LA. Other survivors include a brother, Charles Santifer, and a sister, Barbara Miner, of Texarkana, AR and a sister-in-law, Pam Duke. He is also survived by many friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation Monday 11 AM until 1 PM at Osborne Funeral Home, Shreveport, La.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 PM Monday at Forest Park West Cemetery, Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will be under the direction of Osborne Funeral Home, Shreveport, Louisiana.
