VIVETTA HALTER

Vivetta (Vickie) Maria Halter, a resident of Cowhorn Creek Estates of Texarkana,Texas passed away August 17, 2017 at her home.

Vivetta was born March 30, 1925 in Leghorn, Italy was a proud and strong Italian even though she had become a U.S. citizien. She had previously worked as a clerk at J.C. Penney’s till her health made it hard to continue. Mrs. Halter was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny N. Halter, her parents Gusppee and Georgia DeLuca and 9 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law; John W. and Sue Halter of Belton, Texas, daughter and son-in-law; Vivian and Ernest Johnson of Wake Village, Texas. Her grandchildren and their spouses; Joanna and Todd Fore of Texarkana,Texas, Wade and Connie Johnson of Texarkana,Texas, Todd Halter and Rehana Ladha of Orlando, Florida, her great grandchildren Jason Fore of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Colby and Samantha Fore of Texarkana, Arkansas, Layla Halter of Orlando, Florida and Johnny D. Halter of Stephenville, Virginia and her great great grandchild; Steven Fore of Texarkana, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews and other family members

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane Chapel with Father Michael Adams and Buddy Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Old Rondo Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.

The family will be at 306 Whippoorwill Lane, Wake Village, Texas.
