CHEERS: The Dunbar Class of 1967’s 50th Class Reunion made it homes safely during Hurricane Harvey in the Gulf of Mexico. Started as a five day cruise and stayed 11 days because the Gulf of Galveston Port was closed. Thank God for watching over everyone and getting us back to Texarkana.—R.E., Texarkana, Texas

CHEERS: To Texans and their good neighbors who have displayed such remarkable bravery and resilience during the hurricane disaster. When I was a child we sang in school the Texas state song, “Texas, Our Texas”, demonstrating our pride in what was then the largest state in the union. “Texas, our Texas! All hail the mighty state!
