Pleasant Grove's Gibson— “We are preparing for Krum's schemes . There is nothing in particular that we have to shut down. We have been taking steps with our techniques and with the growth of our team. As long as we remain focused more on ourselves and not the oppoent, we're in good shape.
“I think we are getting better each week and hopefully that continues. It's been a characteristic of our team to play our best football at the end of the year. The team has grown in giving effort and being diligent with our time. This week, we need to protect the ball on
offense and remain physical. On defense, we just need to play sound, fast and physical. If we do those three things, then we're in good shape.”
Krum's Allen Oh—“Pleasant Grove is very good at running the Wing T. They execute really well and do a good job of keeping the defense off balance with who is getting the ball. They are physical up front. Their defense is very sound. They are fast and are very good at tackling. They were able to hold some really good offenses to a couple of scores.
“Keys for us defensively will be to stay discipline, read keys, and don't give up the big play. Offensively, we need to execute and sustain drives.”
