COACH BARRY NORTON’S COMMENTS:

“We’re always looking to what gives us the best chance to win and also maximize our athletes abilities the most. Moving Drake to receiver, on the opening snap showed what he can do. Drake’s lethal with his speed and a very valuable receiver for us. This move gives Irijah (Price) some help on the outside. We’re hoping to get DeJordan Mask back soon, which is going to give us more weapons. Jordan (Hall) was able to run well because of our passing game.”

“Sean (Foreback) is a sophomore quarterback progressing nicely for us. He’s a young, inexperienced quarterback in a new system. Everything he does is new, every day is new. We have to continue to keep moving forward and progressing. We’re a better football team, than we were a week ago. We have to continue working on our craft and focus on the task at hand, which is Russellville.”

“We have a base defense we believe in. We try to be great with our fundamentals and techniques. I remember when I was on staff for Dan Hooks at West-Orange Stark, he stressed fundamentals and techniques defensively. Cameron Collier and Kendricks Young have been doing a great job for us. Treveon Cleveland has also done a great job from his linebacker position this season.
