GENE RAWLINSON

Howard Eugene Rawlinson, Jr., age 65, of Fouke, Arkansas, died Friday, October 20, 2017 in a local hospital.

M r . Rawlinson was born March 13, 1952 in Cleburne, Texas . He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a master carpenter, general contractor and faithful Parrothead.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Smith Rawlinson and three brothers, Joe Pareya, Dwight Rawlinson and Roy T. Rawlinson.

Survivors include his children, Jason Rawlinson of Katy, Texas, Jojo and Starr Rawlinson of Fouke, Arkansas, Jacob and Ashley Rawlinson of Fouke, Arkansas, Eugene and Yumi Rawlinson of Katy, Texas, Rebecca and Jason Williams of Fouke, Arkansas and Angelina and Brad Stevens of Texarkana, Arkansas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ella Thomas and Becky and Allen Wilder, all of Kountze, Texas; sixteen grandchildren, and many other relatives.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers or contributions, Gene would want you to “pay a favor forward!” The family will be at the home of Jojo and Starr Rawlinson.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
