TEAMS: Anna (6-1, 2-0) at Liberty-Eylau (2-5, 1-1)

KICKOFF: 7:30 p.m., Harris Field. LAST WEEK: The Coyotes beat Quinlan Ford, 35-21, and Leopards evened their District 7-4A, Division I record with a 48-35 win over North Lamar. LAST YEAR: LibertyEyl­au trounced Anna, 44-17, in the first meeting between the teams.

GAME FACTS: The Leopards owns the same record as last fall, when L-E won four in a row to close the regular season. Anna senior QB Keelan Crosby missed last season's matchup with a leg injury. Crosby, who has committed to the University of North Texas as a safety, is a dual-threat quarterbac­k with TD runs of 49 and 48 yards in the Coyotes' last two games. He has run for 10 TDs this season and collecting 13 last year in six games. Anna averages 30.7 and allows 15.7 points per game. Liberty-Eylau scores 36.6 and gives up 41.3 points an outing. Princeton, which hosts North Lamar tonight and plays at L-E next week, is also 2-0 in district play,

while Paris and L-E are 1-1.

COACHES COMMENTS: Anna’s Jason Heath was unavailabl­e for comment.

L-E’s Steve Wells—“For Ana, everything runs through their quarterbac­k (Crosby) on offense. He sees the field real well and can tuck it and go at any point. They've got some good running backs with him, and on defense they're sound. They play hard.

“We're going to have to come out and play well an entire game. Anna is 2-0 and has a shot at winning (the district title). For us to have a shot at winning, we need to knock them off.”
