St. Michael honored in workplace ranking

CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System has been ranked as No. 35 among health care providers and insurers by Modern Healthcare’s 2017 Best Places to Work in Healthcare.

“Receiving this honor is a true testament to the dedication and level of commitment CHRISTUS St. Michael Associates, physicians and volunteers have to our mission of extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ,” said Chris Karam, St. Michael president/ CEO.

“This award also showcases the Texarkana region as having outstanding career opportunities, great places to work and that Texarkana is a great place to live.”

Now in its tenth year, the award program identifies and recognizes outstanding employers in the health care industry nationwide. Modern Healthcare partners with the Best Companies Group on the assessment process, which includes an extensive employee survey.
