Courtney Jean Ham Sewell, age 41, of Texarkana, went to be with Jesus November 13, 2017 surrounded by her family. Courtney was born April 26, 1976, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother -in-Stacy Sewell, her grandparen­ts, Syble and Lester Humphres and Ramie and Harvey Ham, among others in the family.

Courtney is survived by her loving husband of almost eighteen years, Shelby, her three children whom she adored, Lily, Abby, and Will, her parents Eddie and Jean Ham of Texarkana, her brother Wayne Ham of Malvern, Arkansas and his children, Gavin and Emma, sisters Meredith and husband Rance Bryant of Greenbrier, Arkansas, and Allyson and husband, Phillip Petty and their son, Parker of Lonsdale, Arkansas. She is also survived by her in-laws, Neal and Mickie Sewell of Lewisville, Arkansas and Ronda Viles of Texarkana, Texas, her beloved cousins and a sister-in-law, Stacie and her children, Janie and Edith of New Iberia, Louisiana. Courtney was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday at Texarkana Funeral Home, 4801 Parkway Drive, Texarkana, Arkansas.

A Celebratio­n of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 at Beech Street First Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Bixler officiatin­g. Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
