Court­ney Jean Ham Sewell, age 41, of Texarkana, went to be with Je­sus Novem­ber 13, 2017 sur­rounded by her fam­ily. Court­ney was born April 26, 1976, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a mem­ber of Beech Street First Bap­tist Church. She was pre­ceded in death by her brother -in-Stacy Sewell, her grand­par­ents, Sy­ble and Lester Humphres and Ramie and Har­vey Ham, among oth­ers in the fam­ily.

Court­ney is sur­vived by her lov­ing hus­band of al­most eigh­teen years, Shelby, her three chil­dren whom she adored, Lily, Abby, and Will, her par­ents Ed­die and Jean Ham of Texarkana, her brother Wayne Ham of Malvern, Arkansas and his chil­dren, Gavin and Emma, sis­ters Mered­ith and hus­band Rance Bryant of Green­brier, Arkansas, and Allyson and hus­band, Phillip Petty and their son, Parker of Lons­dale, Arkansas. She is also sur­vived by her in-laws, Neal and Mickie Sewell of Lewisville, Arkansas and Ronda Viles of Texarkana, Texas, her beloved cousins and a sis­ter-in-law, Sta­cie and her chil­dren, Janie and Edith of New Ibe­ria, Louisiana. Court­ney was a won­der­ful wife, mother, daugh­ter, sis­ter, and friend.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thurs­day at Texarkana Fu­neral Home, 4801 Park­way Drive, Texarkana, Arkansas.

A Cel­e­bra­tion of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Fri­day, Novem­ber 17, 2017 at Beech Street First Bap­tist Church with Rev. Bryan Bixler of­fi­ci­at­ing. Ar­range­ments are un­der the di­rec­tion of Texarkana Fu­neral Home, Arkansas.
