NORMA BERGT

Norma Olivia Bergt, 85, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Bergt was born Jan. 31, 1932, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a member of Buchanan First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Paul Bergt; and one grandson, Kyle Louis Lachowsky.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Terry Fant of Texarkana, Texas, and Beebe and Keith McFaul of Wake Village, Texas; three grandchildren, Toni Norton of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Jake Lachowsky of Chesapeake, Va., and John Lachowsky of Wake Village; two sisters-in-law, Dolly Brownell and Daisy Bergt of Texarkana, Texas; one special friend, Morris Blankenship of Texarkana, Texas; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane with the Rev. Don Brazille officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Relatives will be at the home of Beebe McFaul, 315 Loma Linda, Wake Village.

Memorials may be made to Buchanan First Baptist Church Building Fund.
