JAMES GLOVER SR.
NEW BOSTON, Texas— James Robert Glover Sr., 78 of Hooks, Texas, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, in a local nursing home.
Mr. Glover was born Sept. 11, 1939, in New Boston, Texas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, employed by J&J Livestock, a Baptist and a National Guard veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Glover of Hooks; two sons and one daughter-in-law, James Glover Jr. of Hooks and William and Tammy Glover of Redwater, Texas; one daughter, Rita Eaves of Red Lick, Texas; one sister, Flora Johnson of Hooks; three grandchildren, Ashley Montgomery of Redwater, Jennifer May of Newport, Ark., and Christina Adams of Red Lick, Texas; five greatgrandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at BatesRolf Funeral Home with the Rev. Patrick Evans officiating. Burial will be in Red Bayou Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
