DE QUEEN, Ark.—Paul Dean Stone, 81, of De Queen died Tues­day, Nov. 14, 2017, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospi­tal.

Mr. Stone was born Sept. 9, 1936, in Tishamingo, Okla. He was a teacher and bus driver with Lock­es­burg and De Queen schools, re­tired from Wood­men of the World Life In­surance, a 32nd-de­gree Mason, a mem­ber of First Bap­tist Church and an Army Re­serves vet­eran.

Sur­vivors in­clude his wife, Betty Ann Stone; one son and daugh­terin-law, Flint Maxwell and Cathy Stone; one daugh­ter and son-in­law, Paula Ann and Brad Jus­tice; four grand­sons, Adam Lan­caster, Bray­den Rose, Pa­trick Stone and Max Stone; and one grand­daugh­ter, Brooke Rose.

Ser­vices will be 2 p.m. Fri­day at Chan­dler Fu­neral Home with Brad Jus­tice of­fi­ci­at­ing. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thurs­day at the fu­neral home.
