CHRISTMAS COOKIES

Ingredient­s:

1 lb. candied cherries, chopped

4 slices candied pineapple, not citron

1 lb. orange peel and lemon peel, candied

6 cups chopped nuts

1 lb. white or golden raisins

1 can coconut

3 cups flour

1/2 cup Oleo

1 cup light brown sugar

4 eggs

1 tsp. soda

1 tsp. allspice

1 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon

1 tsp. cloves

1/2 cup orange juice

3 Tbsp. milk

Directions:

Dredge candied fruit in one cup flour to separate; remove from flour. Cream together Oleo, brown sugar and eggs. Sift together flour, soda, allspice, cinnamon/nutmeg, cloves, orange juice and milk. Combine all ingredient­s and drop by spoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 250°F to 300°F for 25 minutes. Can be frozen.
