MONROE, LA.—Texas High throttled Lake Charles College Prep in their opening game of the Belton Williams Classic.

Nucci Clark led the Tigers offensively with 18 points and Caleb Wilson added 17 points. Cole Drumm dropped 15 points for THS and Kyle Wright contributed 11 points.

The Tigers play Ouachita at 7:30 p.m.

Brownsboro Great East Texas Shootout Game 1: Texas High 69, Winona 52 Game 2: Texas High 71, Kerens 58 BROWNSBORO, Texas—Texas High won both of its opening games in the Brownsboro Great East Texas Shootout varsity girls tournament.

The Lady Tigers were led by Antonia Porter offensively in the game against Winona. Porter finished with a gamehigh 19 points for the Lady Tigers. Mia Wilson and Maranda Wilson each finished with 12 points for THS.

Wilson led the Lady Tigers offensively in the win over Kerens, draining 19 points. Vicki Willis finished the night with 17 points for Texas High.

THS (10-2) will face LaPoyner at 3:15 p.m.
