Roger D. Duhon, Sr., age 69, of Queen City, Texas went to be with the Lord Friday, December 22, 2017 at his residence.

Roger was born April 26, 1948, in Eunice, Louisiana to Jimmy and Hazel Miller Duhon. He was retired from the Oil Field; and was a strong believer in God. He enjoyed spending time with family, being in the outdoors hunting, fishing and four wheeler riding; and in his younger years flying planes. He was preceded in death by his granddaugh­ter, Kelsi Blank; brother, Donald Duhon; sister, Margie Landers; and his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Dodge Duhon of Queen City, Texas; son, Roger Duhon, Jr. and wife Amy of Bloomburg, Texas; daughters, Bobbie Jo Weaver and husband Jason of Texarkana, Texas, Melissa Blank and husband Kevin of Bloomburg, Texas, Linda Piazza and husband Ryan of Atlanta, Texas, Angie Duhon and fiancé Shane Stanley of Queen City, Texas; four brothers, Robert Duhon of Morgan City, Louisiana, James Duhon of Morgan City, Louisiana, Armond Duhon of Morgan City, Louisiana, Ronald Duhon of Morgan City, Louisiana; two sisters, Veronica Ruzicka of St. Louis, Missouri, Lisa Mitchell of Morgan City, Louisiana; thirteen grandchild­ren; nine great-grandchild­ren and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at New Hope Baptist Church, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. Christophe­r Thomas officiatin­g.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.

Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.
