43, of Texarkana, Ark., called her ex-husband early Wednesday to tell him she was going to clean out the house on Walnut Street where they used to live, according to information from Texarkana, Texas, Police Department.

The ex-husband called the police. When officers arrived, Korenek already had several items loaded into her car and had managed to get a dresser out of the house and into the garage, police said. She reportedly was having trouble getting the dresser into the car.

Everything Korenek had taken out of the house belonged to the new residents, police said. The officers determined pretty quickly that Korenek was under the influence, according to TTPD. Police also reportedly found a prescription bottle and a $1,000 check that belonged to other people in her car.

Korenek was arrested and charged with burglary, possession of a dangerous drug and fraudulent possession of identifying information and taken to jail.

A few hours later, police received a call on Magnolia Street. A man reported that his 90-year-old father said he was awakened during the night by an unknown woman in his apartment. She told him that she was there to clean the apartment for him. He watched from his bed as she moved dishes and other small items around the apartment before he told her to get out and lock the door on her way out.

That morning, he realized his cellphone, a frying pan and a cutting board were missing. Police reportedly found all these items in Korenek’s car, and the man’s name was the same as the name on the prescription bottle she had.

Korenek is being held in the Bi-State Justice Building jail on a $45,000 bond for the three original charges. Police anticipate filling an additional burglary charge against Korenek for the incident on Magnolia Street.
