Ashdown students win business contests

Students in the Future Business Leaders Associatio­n at Ashdown High School recently won several competitio­ns at the FBLA Spring Conference, held at the University of Arkansas at Hope.

Senior Isaac Thomas, current District IV president, gave a farewell address, and Aliyah Anderson gave a candidate speech and was installed as District IV secretary.

In April, the following students will represent the district at the state competitio­n, which will be held at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock:
