The Kiwanis Pancake Day 5K and kids’ K is March 3 at Texarkana College. The 5K race begins at 8 a.m., the award ceremony is at 9, and the kids’ K starts at 9:30. Registration on or before Feb. 19 for the 5K is $25, $10 for the kid’s K, and $10 for stroller/ pets. On Feb. 20, the fee for the 5K is $30, the kid’s K is $15, and stroller/ pets is $10. Registration includes a free ticket to the pancake breakfast, and adults receive a t-shirt. All kids will each receive a medal. SHOOTING SPORTS

The Texarkana Arkansas Razorback TRAP team is holding their annual fundraiser. The prizes include a 36” patriot themed fire pit or a Benelli 12 gauge shotgun. The winner will get to choose their prize. Tickets are $5 or five for $20. 1000 tickets are to be sold and may be purchased at Paul’s Pawn and Gun at 2609 East 9th street in Texarkana.

The Texarkana Arkansas Razorback TRAP Team is having its Annual Shotgun Raffle. The drawing if for a Weatherby Athena IV o/u shotgun. Tickets are $1 each and are available from any participating student, coach, 237 Grocery or Doc’s Catfish. The drawing will be held at Doc’s Catfish in Garland on March 15. Season tickets are available for Texas A&M University-Texarkana’s baseball season. Passes are good for an adult admission, are available opening weekend at the gate for $75. Family passes good for all home games will be available for $120 and will provide season admission for two adults and two youths. To purchase season passes in advance, contact Jordan Logan at Jordan. Gabriel@tamut.edu or 714-980-1375. Admission for A&M-Texarkana faculty, staff and students is free with ID. First responders in uniform and military personnel also receive free admission. Individual tickets at the gate are $5 for adults and $3 for children.
