Free health fair slated for March 21 in Atlanta

CHRISTUS St. Michael Health and Fitness Center-Atlanta will have a free community health fair from 9 a.m. until noon March 21.

The event is free to the public. Free health screenings available at the event include blood pressure, glucose, lipid profiles, PSAs, nutrition and more.

“This community health fair offers the people of Atlanta, Cass County and the surrounding areas a great chance to learn more about their health and how to live healthier, happier lives,” said Jason Wall, coordinator of St. Michael Health and Fitness Center in Atlanta.

Clinical experts will be on hand to offer insight and advice. Topics will include infusion, wound care, cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation, sleep disorders, outpatient rehab, stroke and trauma.

“We will also be bringing in some of our trusted partners in the community to provide really helpful information on a huge variety of interesting health topics – from nutrition to the very latest in athletic gear,” Wall said.

The fitness center is at 206 N. William St. in Atlanta.
