William Clayton “Butch” Bowen, 65, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, March 29, 2018, in a local hospital.

Mr. Bowen was born Sept. 28, 1952, in Texarkana, Ark. He was a Christian and an Air Force veteran.

Survivors inc lude one sister, Loretta Bowen McCloskey of Wake Village, Texas; one brother, James Bowen of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Johnny Murphy officiatin­g. Burial will be under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

HOPE, Ark.—James Delaney, 90, of Columbus, Ark., died Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at his home.

Mr. Delaney was born Nov. 1, 1927, in Columbus. He was a retired saw mill operator with Holnam Industries, a member of Columbus Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Gwen Young Delaney; two sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Christy Delaney and Bob and Donna Delaney; two sisters, Helen Couch and Hazel Bilby of Columbus; five granddaugh­ters; 12 great-grandchild­ren; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 5 p.m. Monday at Columbus Cemetery. Burial will be under direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
