Redwater falls to Hooks, 6-4

HOOKS, Texas—Redwater fell to Hooks on the road in a varsity softball contest, 6-4.

Lexi Frachiseur received the win in the circle for the Lady Hornets. Frachiseur pitched seven innings, gave up five hits and four runs in the win.

Marena Estell led Hooks at the plate with three hits and 4 RBI.

Savannah Corbell led the Lady Dragons at the plate with three hits.

Ashdown 8, Horatio 3

HORATIO, Ark.—Adaysia Thompson led Ashdown in the circle over Horatio on the road Tuesday night.

Thompson struck out three, gave up eight hits and three runs. Thompson also went 1 for 3 at the plate with a triple and 2 RBI for the Lady Panthers.

Kara Earnest added a single and 3 RBI for Ashdown in the win.

Von Joy Thomas added two singles for Ashdown and teammates Aleya Hill and Lannah Huddleston, each added an RBI.

LeAnn Beasley went 2 for 4 and added an RBI for the Lady Lions, while Aubrey Banhart collected a triple for Horatio.

Laiken Emerson rounded out the Lady Lion hitters, going 1 for 3 at the dish with a double and a RBI.

Nashville 5, Benton 4

BENTON, Ark.—Nashville defeated Benton in a nonconference contest on the road Tuesday night.

Madi Miller received the win in the cirlce for the Lady Scrappers.

Raley Potter led Nashville at the dish, hitting two home runs and adding 3 RBI. Potter has now hit 10 home runs this season.

The Lady Scrappers are back in action today, traveling to Cossatot River at 4:30 p.m.

Avery 12, James Bowie 2

SIMMS, Texas—Avery runruled James Bowie on the road Tuesday night in a varsity softball match.

Mally Hammonds led the Lady Pirates at the plate with a single, double, home run and a RBI.

Sarah Bruce finished her night with a single and RBI for James Bowie, while teammate Sherian Byran added a single.

Hughes Springs 11, New Boston 6

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas— Marisol Kennedy led Hughes Springs from the circle over New Boston Tuesday night at home.

Kennedy pitched seven innings, walked none and struck out five in the win.

Haylee Wilson led the Lady Mustangs with four hits.

Shelbie Fickling hit a solo home run for Hughes Springs and teammate Pearl Perry hit a 2-run home run.

Angel Evan led New Boston at the dish with four hits.
