WILLIAM HOLBROOK
NASHVILLE, Ark.—William “Bill” Holbrook, 73, of New Boston, Texas, died Thursday, April 26, 2018, in Texarkana.
Mr. Holbrook was born July 30, 1944, in Nashville. He was a retired detective, former owner of Holbrook Packing, Nashville, and a member of National Gun Association, Fraternal Order of the Eagles and Sunset Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Deanne Holbrook of Springdale, Ark.; two brothers, Charles Derrall Holbrook of Philadelphia and Thomas Eugene Holbrook of Louisiana; one grandson, Tracy Lee Holbrook; one great-grandson, Levi Ashton Holbrook; the mother of his child, Patricia Holbrook; and a number of other relatives.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Nashville Funeral Home with Ronald Gilbert officiating.
DOROTHY GRIFFORD
Dorothy May Grifford, 92, of Fouke, Ark., died Saturday, April 28, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Grifford was born May 15, 1925, in Swedesboro, N.J. She was retired from United States Postal Serv ice , Dallas, and Manpower Inc., Lubbock, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Grifford; and one daughter, Elaine Grifford.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Kelley of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Tonnett Grifford; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Private services will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.

SHARRON LITTLE
Sharron Hanson Little, 53, of Fouke, Ark., died Saturday, April 28, 2018, in a local hospice. Mrs. Little was born Aug. 14, 1964, in Texarkana, Ark.
Survivors include her husband, William Little of Fouke; two sons, William J am e s Little VI of Nashville, Tenn., and Jerry James Little of Minneapolis; three brothers, Terry Don Hanson of Fouke, Michael Wayne Hanson of College Station, Texas, and Robert Hanson of Genoa, Ark.; six sisters, Glenda Henderson of Simms, Texas, Sandra Sinclair of El Dorado, Ark., Barbara Wilson of Queen City, Texas, Carolyn Kiper of West Monroe, La., Jennifer Bryant of Texarkana and Cyndee Bougue of College Station, Texas; one grandchild; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Rock Springs Cemetery. Burial will be under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.

NASHVILLE, Ark.—William J. “Bill” Jones III, 73, of Murfreesboro, Ark., died Thursday, April 26, 2018, at his home.
Mr. Jones was born July 23, 1944, in Rahway, N.J. He was a retired telephone engineer with Lucent AT&T Phone Co., a peewee football coach, a Scout Master for Troop 61, Nashville, a Vigil honor member of Akela Wahinapay Lodge 232 and a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Jane White Jones of Murfreesboro; two children and spouses, Cindy and Mike Willard of Nashville and Greg and Shannon Jones of Cabot, Ark.; two sisters, Jan Broome and Barbara Richards of Belton, S.C.; one brother, David Jones of Califon, N.J.; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Nashville, with James Harris officiating. Burial will be in Avery’s Chapel Cemetery under direction of Nashville Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Orville “Willie” Wichern, 91, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, April 27, 2018, in a local nursing home.
M r . Wichern was born July 22, 1926, in Point Rest, Mo. He was a former mechanic with John Deere, a Christian and a WWII Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Wichern of Texarkana; three daughters and sons-inlaw; Sharon and Mondo Rios of New Boston, Texas, Karen and Brad Dreyer of Texarkana and Karla and Matt Kiefner of Jackson, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
