Hobbs Manufactured Housing paves an affordable path to home ownership

-

An affordable path to home ownership is something Hobbs Manufactured Homes offers residents across the Four States Area.

Hobbs Manufactured Homes opened March 1, but owner Pat Hobbs has 17 years of experience managing a manufactured home business in Texarkana.

“My goal was to be out on my own,” he said.

Competitive pricing and the option of customization makes the purchase of a manufactured home a wise decision for many people.

“We can provide custom homes at $45 to $55 a square foot. People are able to afford a home and still have money to enjoy other things in life,” Hobbs said.

Hobbs Manufactured Homes offers single-wide and double-wide manufactured homes and also tiny houses.

“This is a really good market because of the pricing. We see all types of customers from people downsizing or young families looking for something affordable.

“If you’re considering a manufactured home for your new home purchase, we ask that you stop in and browse our selection of exciting new-model homes. We are certain you will be able to find a home that exceeds your expectations,” Hobbs said.

The quality of manufactured homes is something that has improved greatly over the years.

Unlike stick-built homes, which are built to state and local codes that differ across the country, manufactured homes all must be built to the strict standards set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These high standards include considerations relating to fire safety, egress, load capacity, ventilation, energy efficiency, heating, plumbing and the home’s ability to withstand the rigors of traveling from the factory to the site.
